LifeType And Writer

LifeTypeA quick guide how to set up Windows Live Writer to work with (multiple) accounts on LifeType.

Windows Live Writer 2008 (Beta 3) and probably all later versions work excellent with LifeType. Writer recognizes all LifeType features and allows editing of those. However, this applies to the default LifeType installation only; add-ons like "Secret Blog" (password-protected blog) don't go along with it. If you got "Secret Blog", don't worry though. In this particular case, the only missing feature would be the page preview in the blog's template style.

If you use one login for several blogs, Writer recognizes that correctly and allows multiple Weblog management. (More)

Windows Live Writer

This article was written using Windows Live Writer 2008 (Beta 3) and it was a smooth ride. For those with multiple blog accounts who want to switch between their various accounts with one click of their mouse, Writer is a great choice.

OTRS: Re-Install

Communication Trackbacks (0)

Here's a great script to create an exploded tree view of all files and sub-folders in the current folder of a web site. It's totally customizable and small in size.

Ohloh Ranking

Worth to mention I got rank ohloh profile for Andre Martin out of 10 at Ohloh despite not having contributed to any source code. They have a rather complicated way to calculate the kudos but I think it's worth to mention in this context that I have done hundreds of edits so far; inlcuding dozens of new project additions.
