This is a cleaned-up version of the original "OTRS: The troubles with trouble tickets - Quick upgrade guide" article which is now obsolete.

To save time and patience, and to avoid potential problems during an upgrade, I have taken notes of the steps necessary for upgrading a customized OTRS installation.

This upgrade guide has been anonymized and edited to fit in this blog.
The guide applies to a RedHat Fedora and Ensim environment.
Modifications reflect changes in upgrade procedures.
